Carnation

These are so easy to make! They are made from white copy paper which makes them super cheap as well!
Fold a sheet of copy paper into fourths and cut out a cloud-like shape.
With watered down acrylic paint, paint the front and back of each "cloud".
While the paper is still wet, crumple each shape into a "spit-wad". If it already dried, re-wet it with the spray bottle.
Open each paper up and let it dry somewhat.
Then pinch the bottom of the "cloud" to form a bud, and glue only the center onto another "cloud". Keep the water handy, for you will need it as the petals will dry. They have to be somewhat wet so you can form them into a carnation. Then tape a floral wire on the bottom for a stem, and there you have it! (I actually hot-glued the floral wire to the side of the flower base, then wrapped the floral tape around it. It didn't seem to work without hot glue first.
